Submitting this form alone does not establish an engagement, reserve a deadline, or confirm that Aurora has accepted the work. Work begins only after Aurora’s acceptance review and a signed engagement letter.

Inquiry details are processed by the website form provider to deliver your message to Aurora. Read the privacy notice.

The Secure Client Portal

Records for an engagement are exchanged through Aurora’s secure client portal, not by email. The Secure Client Portal link at the top of every page is the sign-in page for clients who already have access.

  • How access works

There is nothing to set up before an engagement begins. The engagement letter itself is signed electronically, through a separate signature service, before any portal access exists. Once it is signed, Aurora sends an invitation to the portal together with a records checklist prepared for your situation.

Until you have that invitation, please do not send financial records, account numbers, or legal documents by email or through the inquiry form above.

  • What you can do there

    • Upload documents from a computer, or photograph them with a phone.
    • Exchange messages with Aurora in one place rather than across an email thread.
    • See and respond to specific records requests.

It works in a browser and in Liscio’s mobile app.

  • The platform behind it

The portal is provided by Liscio (opens in a new tab), a document and client-communication platform built for accounting firms.

Liscio states that it is SOC 2 certified and that its platform is built to support Federal Trade Commission Safeguards Rule obligations and IRS Publication 4557, the guidance addressed to tax professionals safeguarding client data.

Aurora uses that platform for client records rather than email. Email between well-configured providers is encrypted in transit and at rest, so the point is not that email is unsafe. It is that Aurora controls only one end of it: copies persist in every mailbox a message reaches, delivery depends on the recipient’s provider, and nothing ties a message to a verified sign-in. The portal keeps records in one place, under access Aurora can manage.
