How Aurora handles information submitted through this public website.
This notice applies to Aurora Private Accounting, PLLC’s public website and conversation-request form. If Aurora accepts an engagement, the engagement terms and applicable professional obligations govern the handling of client information.
Information You Choose to Provide
The inquiry form requests your name, contact details, response preference, the general reason for your inquiry, and limited information about intended use and timing. Optional fields allow you to indicate how you heard about Aurora, whether a written request or form exists, and who expects to use the information.
Do not use the public form or ordinary email to send financial records, account information, legal documents, or other sensitive personal information. Those are exchanged through Aurora’s secure client portal, to which Aurora provides access after an engagement begins.
How Aurora Uses Inquiry Information
Aurora uses inquiry information to respond, understand the requested work, consider whether an engagement may be appropriate, and arrange a conversation. Submitting an inquiry alone does not establish an engagement, reserve a deadline, or confirm acceptance of any work.
Service Providers and Other Disclosures
Aurora’s website, form, and email providers may process inquiry information as needed to operate the website, deliver the submission, maintain security, and support those services. Aurora may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful process, protect the website or its users, or establish or protect legal rights.
Aurora does not sell inquiry information or use it for third-party advertising.
Technical Information
The website uses the hosting provider’s built-in analytics, which is cookieless. It records page views and page-performance measurements, and derives general information such as browser, device type, and country from the request, including the IP address it was sent from. It sets no cookies, is not used to identify individual visitors, does not follow visitors to other websites, and is not used for advertising.
A website or form provider may also maintain basic technical logs for security, reliability, and form delivery.
This notice will be updated if Aurora adds cookie-based analytics, advertising tools, or materially different website practices.
Retention
How long inquiry information is retained depends on the status of the inquiry, appropriate business-record needs, applicable legal and professional obligations, and the settings and backup practices of Aurora’s service providers.
